What, if anything are you or what will you be doing differently this year than last year to take your business to the next level?
You might have the answer. If so, you can stop reading. If NOT, I want to share with you some breakthrough ideas to accomplish that.
I agree that times are bad but you must never give in. If you are small and struggling, take a few minutes and write out what makes your business unique, desirable, and valuable to a customer/client. In fact think of how you are far more valuable than your competition.
How? The first thing you should do is to demonstrate to your customers/clients that you feel their pain, hopes and dreams.
I often times hear Business Owners tell me how great their product is. They actually fall in love with their product. Don’t’ do this. Instead, fall in love with the people you serve, the people you are communicating and connecting with.
Show them that they matter. Their lives, their interests and their situations truly matter to you and your business.
I have found that the vast majority of businesses are mere commodities, non distinguishable vendors of stuff. Providing nothing unique, nothing superior, and no distinctive benefit or advantage to the consumer.
True entrepreneurs strive to create something new or better for their market in what they do.
So here we are. A New Year thinking about your fate and your future. My question to you is this. Are you content with mediocrity or do you truly desire to separate yourself from the competition and leave your competition in the DUST?
